One.
Respect everyone. Treat others how you would want to be treated. This goes not only for staff members, but regular members too. Everyone in this community deserves respect, whether you may like them or not.
Two.
Don't share personal details. Your full name (beyond your first name), phone number, address and other personal details should never be shared on the public forums. This is to maintain your own safety - you never know what type of people are out there and where your details could end up.
Three.
Harassment, flaming, bashing, and discrimination of any sort will not be tolerated. If any member should experience or witness such behavior, please report it immediately to a staff member. We will do our best to take care of the problem and there will be consequences for anyone proven to be involved in harassing WN members.
Four.
Write your posts to be understood. Correct spelling and grammar are perhaps two of the biggest factors to being understood. Text language should be limited. The occasional usage is fine (e.g., lol, btw, idk, omg, imo, etc), but not everyone will understand all abbreviations.
Five.
No spamming or trolling the forums. All spammers and trolls run the risk of being banned indefinitely. Members should try to resist replying to such people, and simply report it to a staff member.
Six.
Be active. Life can be hectic and things happen where you may not be able to come on for a while. Being active helps the forum, so we ask try to make it on at least once a month.
Seven
Linked avatars can be up to 200px x 300px. Signature images should be no more than 600px x 250px.
Eight.
All members must be at least 13 years old. As per Proboards Terms of Service. Any member found to be under 13 will be banned until their 13th birthday.
Nine.
There is a zero tolerance policy for plagirization. This policy includes trying to plagirize here on WN, as well as plagirizing WN content on other forums/sites. All WN content is copyright (c) 2013+ by the author of said content. No content, ideas, plots, characters, details, or themes provided or posted are permitted anywhere outside of The Wizarding Network. Please report any instances of theft to Lotus.
